Strengthening Communications with Customers

This week I did a quick 3 city tour in Australia covering Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. While many people assume that Adobe LiveCycle is solely for electronic forms creation, there are many other components which combined with Adobe Reader, Flash Player and AIR, can create great Communication “Experiences” for customers & citizens.

This week’s presentation focused around three key areas; Information, Process & People. The information section covered everything from managing unstructured data with LiveCycle Content Services, securing information using LiveCycle Rights Management and ensuring it’s authenticity using certified pdfs. The process part focused on automation capabilities of LiveCycle, including the process management capabilites, LiveCycle Workspace and Business Activity Monitoring tools. Finally I had a look at the most important “People” side of the equation, showing how we can empower not only our customers with great experiences, but also our internal business community with simple to use interfaces.

My slide deck is shared above, and I’ll be recording my presentation in sections over the next few days and will place links on my blog.

Some nice looking stuff there. You didn’t actually say who the audience of your presentations were? Was it customers as the title suggests or maybe an event I missed? Thanks.

Ah yes, in my haste to get the slides up for the attendees I neglected to mention that. The attendees to the presentation were invited guests of Adobe’s Solution Partners from large corporations and government agencies, and mostly Business Analysts and Managers.

The “customers” that I reference in the presentation were Adobe’s customer’s end customers.. eg A government agency or a financial intitution’s customers, and approaches they can take to make the experience for the end customer a better one.

I’m currently planning to host a more general LiveCycle technical overview workshop open to all to attend in the near future and will announce it hear well in advance.

    Hi Mark,
    This is a great presentation.
Do you have a narrated Flash version of this?
I am in the process of obtaining Livecycle for my company (Advanced Medical Optics) and your presentation could be helpful in explaining why we should adopt this solution.

    Hi Bob

I’ve had a few requests for a narration as well as recording the demo’s that I showed on the day. It’s currently in the “to-do” list but hopefully i can get it down in the next week or two. Please check back!
